Shitfaced Shakespeare

November 30th – December 31st, 2018

The second show of our season, “S#!tfaced Shakespeare”, combines the literary academics of Shakespeare with the maniacal tomfoolery (that’s right we used tomfoolery in a sentence!) of a totally smashed cast member!

Audiences get to pick the play and which actor they would like to see stumble through Shakespeare, after imbibing a few shots of whiskey!

THE CAST

Breona Conrad

Breona Conrad

Breona is stoked to drunkenly stumble her way through two of her favorite Shakespearean plays in the canon. She likes paying homage to the Bard through comedy.  Like her work in Southwest Shakespeare’s Complete Works…Abridged which earned her the 2017 Broadwayworld.com Best Actress Award. Or having played in two of three of the Lauren Gunderson Shakespeare Cycle: Toil and Trouble (Know Theatre of Cincinnati) and The Taming (Class 6 Theatre).  She’s done NON Shakespeare work in the Valley with The Bridge Initiative and Stray Cat Theatre. But her world is basically Shakespeare; she’s the Director of Education at the Southwest Shakespeare Company.  Cheers!

A proud USC Trojan, Connor would like to thank you for voting! Hopefully!

Favorite previous credits include productions of King Lear, The Miracle Worker (AriZoni award) Grease, Sylvia, Twelfth Night, Baskerville, The Three Musketeers, and a bunch of other stuff that her mom thought was really great. Thanks to her family for coming see the same drunken schtick Emily trots out at every family holiday. And thanks to Jess for agreeing to marry her.
